When we moved into the place where we currently live, we realized there was no toilet paper holder. Not on the wall, the vanity…nowhere.
Since it’s a rental, I didn’t feel that we could screw fixture into the wall. I started looking online for solutions.
I came upon a toilet paper tree. You know, one of those stands with a waited wide bottom that can hold toilet paper on a spindle? That seemed to work. However, when we first began using it, we notice the toilet paper roll would spin far too easily and give way more than needed. What’s the solution?
I have to admit, it was my mom who came up with the idea: squeezing the roll just enough to change the round cardboard support roll in the center I to an oval cardboard support roll. Voila!
The now oval shape of the inner cardboard roll creates a natural stop for the roll, which also makes it MUCH easier to tear off.
Thanks, Mom!
Works great! 👍🏻
