They Would Say What Grandparents CAN Say
Have you ever heard someone say “If walls could talk” as they contemplate all the things those walls have witnessed over the years?
Do you ever wish you could sit down again with your parents or grandparents to ask them questions about life and how to make better decisions? I do.
Growing up, I really knew only my maternal grandparents because my paternal grandparents passed very early in my life. But I also had maternal great-grandparents. I loved all of them!
They’ve been gone for a long time but I still miss them today. Each had so much wisdom to impart. Sadly, I was too young or distracted to absorb it as much as I now wish I had.
That’s why I’m sharing these books…
These books are a way to connect with elder-wisdom, written by someone with years of life experience behind them.
(Don’t let the simplicity of the covers fool you. The author has purposely designed them to keep them simple and down-to-earth.)
Each book addresses a different topic and helps the reader see things in a brand new way. Every one of them provides an opportunity to learn from someone else’s life lessons without having to personally learn them the hard way.
The worksheets that are included add depth to the reading experience and can be an invaluable learning tool.
Take a moment to find a little corner of your world in which you can slow down, breathe, and really consider the text, points, and questions. To get the most out of each book, be sure to be honest with yourself as you fill out the worksheets.
